Lodges
Set
on a wooded hillside in the magnificent Sutherland countryside
each of the five Lodges has a panoramic view of the glen below and
the mountains beyond.
The
hills behind the lodges offer many walks where you can stroll
by Loch Airgh Mhor and watch the birds of prey that hunt there.
Golden Eagles nest in the trees on the other side of the glen
and Ospreys inhabit Loch Fleet Nature Reserve - only eight miles from
Highland Glen.
Within
two miles of the Lodges is the village of Rogart where the pub serves
good food and the shop has all basic essentials.
The
Lodges are built on ex-crofting land and are surrounded by fields
mainly inhabited by sheep. In the lambing season (late April)
you will get unexpected admirers appearing at your balcony window
expecting to make friends!
Each
Lodge is separated from its neighbour by trees and you feel uncrowded
on the well-kept grounds. There is very little traffic on the
road nearby and you can safely walk there and chat to the locals
who will make you feel very welcome.
Each
lodge sleeps 4 + baby
